Before & After

Below are examples of the work Home Sale Prep can recommend to enhance your home and maximize its "sellability."

The Den

Before After

Before, the den seemed small, the dark wall color closed the space in and furniture lined every wall of the room. The new light beige color neutralized and opened up the room. A new rug warmed up the linoleum.  Repositioning the loveseat and other furniture from other rooms opened up the room even more. Finally, a new rug warmed up the linoleum. These changes helped set the mood in creating a new cozy and relaxing space.

The Kitchen
Before After

The aging cabinets, countertops, and wallpaper were a turn-off to potential buyers. The wallpaper was painted and a simple rug was added to the center of the room lessen the negative reaction people had to the blue tile. Lastly, decorative shelving was added to fill in a gap where a trash disposal one occupied but had turned into an eyesore.

The Dinning Area
Before After

The dizzying wallpaper did not go with the room. Painting over the wallpaper with neutral colors, a white tablecloth, candles, artwork, and a fruit-filled bowl makes the room seem clean and new.

The Bathroom
Before After

Wallpaper was removed and walls were painted walls taupe. The cabinetry also got a new coat of white paint. Fresh white linens, candles, and new soap were added to the counter top, along with a floral accent for the corner. A new window treatment was added to dress up the window.

The Mater Bedroom
Before After

The master bedroom was packed so full with furniture it was impossible to get around - especially to the room's best features - the views from both windows. Uncluttering the furniture and moving the bed eliminated this issue. Painting the room a contrasting color and using new window treatments helped frame the view. Adding some bedding and a cool lamp made this space a great showroom.

The Spare Bedroom
Before After

The spare bedroom was cold and the green flowery wallpaper had to go. New paint and white drapes - to match the ledge and trim, replaced the dark green window treatment. The bedding was neutralized and a new lamp was brought in.  A love seat was brought in from another room and was dressed with a couple of pillows. Lastly, the carpet was steamed cleaned to freshen things up.

Backyard Area
Before After

A walking path was worn and unkempt. A welcoming and inviting path was created by placing in some stepping-stones and filling it in with gravel.
